GRATITUDE TO OUR GREAT CREATOR – BRINGS US EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED
The solution to all of our problems is simply in recognizing who and what our source truly is. And in understanding that we can not “get” all that we truly need for our growth and good health if we forget, or worse (deny), where all good actually comes from!
I’m going to try to make this as clear as possible – and yet keep it very simple at the same time. So let’s use an example that everyone can understand.
Let’s just pretend that you are one of the plants in the image pictured below.
Let’s say that you are the plant right in the middle of the other two, and because they are nearby, they are friends of yours.
Now because you are a plant – all you can see is what is above the ground. You can’t see what is below!
You can see the sun, feel the rain, and notice all of the other plants around you. You can even talk to them. But what you can’t see is what is below ground.
That part is hidden from you!
Historically speaking, (as a plant) you are aware that most plants believed that there was something DEEPER that they were all connected to – something under the GROUND that they just could not see!
But it was merely a “belief” – and was something that they held onto through FAITH.
As time passed, a large group of plants came along who decided that there really was NOTHING under the ground at all.
They called themselves: “Plant-iferians” or “Platanists”…
And they start telling and teaching every single plant above the ground that there was no reason whatsoever to reach down with their energy into places that were hidden from them and that they could not even see!
Why expend that kind of energy? There is NOTHING even down there! You are just being stupid! There is absolutely NOTHING under the ground! Get a clue they said…
So they began to teach other plants to cut off all of their energy from anything that was below the ground and not pay any attention to it. If fact, if any plant did concentrate on trying to reach down below the ground – they made fun of them! They even told them they were dangerous to the rest of the plants.
They began to BAN and to CENSOR the very idea that there was anything below the ground! They outlawed the idea so that all of the little plants could never be taught such craziness.
Any plant who was “PROGRESSIVE” they taught – and any plant who was “with-it” – knew for a fact that there was nothing at all below the ground!
There was just no “science” to support such a ridiculous claim and not one single plant alive could see any proof of such a ridiculous claim!
However, some of the older plants were not convinced. And even though they could not actually SEE PROOF OF IT – many believed something like this to be their true source!
The “progressive” plants laughed at this type of belief! They then said:
WE ARE OUR OWN SOURCE – WE ARE OUR OWN GOD – EVERYTHING COMES FROM US!
And so they made up an “image” in their own likeness as the Great Source of all plants.
THE GREAT LEAF
They called it the “GREAT LEAF” – and they started teaching all of the little plants that the source of all good, all power, and all energy was the GREAT LEAF!
They began to force all other plants to “acknowledge” and to “recognize” the GREAT LEAF as the only GOD there was – and they attacked anyone who still thought that there was something important under the ground that could not be seen.
Those who did not want to be BANNED and CENSORED – began to worship the GREAT LEAF!
In fact, so many plants began to worship leaves, that they created a LEAF PRIDE FLAG – of – RAINBOW COLORS…
LEAF PRIDE
They then instituted an entire month of the year for every plant to recognize LEAF PRIDE MONTH.
Those plants who were teaching and running the Plant Government – almost all of whom were PLANTIFERIANS – finally decided that in order have more control over all of other plants – they needed to unite under a single philosophy – which they then created in the Plant Government and called it:
THE GREEN NEW SCHLEMIEL
Everyone had to conform to the GREEN NEW SCHLEMIEL – or they risked being cast out of the plant world entirely.
Soon – and over time – every single plant forgot that there was anything below the ground! They stopped reaching down with their energy toward what they originally thought was their source, and they all became very sick!
None of the plants who participated in LEAF PRIDE MONTH could understand why they were all wilting and dying. Many of them were very sick and could not understand why!
Only those few plants who still reached down with their energy (in secret) and believed there was something very important below the ground that they could NOT SEE – remained healthy and vibrant!
They refused to worship the GREAT LEAF – as all the other plants were doing, and as a result stayed HEALTHY!
Screw the GREAT LEAF – and your GREEN NEW SCHLEMIEL – we believe in what can not be SEEN
BACK TO REALITY…
I hope this little story was helpful. What it does is to show us that sometimes the things that are the most important to us are the very things that can NOT BE SEEN!
